I have to use the phone a lot for work, but I do not use the phone socially. About the only person I will talk to on the phone is my mother. I even text my husband. My phone almost never rings, and that is fine with me. I hate when I answer the phone and the caller starts out the conversation with "how are you doing?" I know they are just being polite, but they dont care how I am doing and I am annoyed that social etiquette demands that I have to even answer that question. Say what you have to say and hang up.
