I MAY could talk my guy into calling for me but I think he is a little annoyed with having to call people for me at the moment I just had him call my dentist to confirm an appointment, call a doctor to reschedule, call another doctor to set a test. He probably would once he has some time to get over being irritated...

Don't feel like you have to answer this, but do you take something tor axiety... That might help you.

Still to this day I put business calls off as long as possible.

I agree though. They may get suspicious and are just trying to protect their pups. Would an in person meeting be easier?
Could you take a pill and then do it?
I'm on a beta blocker and tricyclic antidepressant everyday (strangely enough as a migraine preventative...) and it seems like they may help SOME with the whole phobia thing but I know SSRIs are the preferred treatment. I was on SSRIs till my neurologist changed me because I was having intractable migraines
An in-person meeting would definitely be easier. Do you think a breeder would agree to that without talking to me on the phone? I guess its worth a try.

I'm always surprised to hear that people would rather "pick up the phone and call" rather than email too, HA HA!

But, in this case, it may be because breeders can get a "feel" for you over the phone. They can kind of get a sense of your personality and see if you will be a good fit for one of their pups. It's easier to gage things like this when you can hear the voice rather than over the internet where it's only words written down.
I know right! I always put on doctor's forms and stuff for the contact info to please e-mail me instead of calling and they never do, ever. You would think it would be easier. They could totally type out an e-mail to me while they deal with someone else on the phone and finish in half the time!
Yeah, I know it is certainly easier to get a feel for what someone is like if you have more than text to go off. Text can be really hard to interpret sometimes and I'm already kind of socially awkward. I feel like my e-mails (and posts?? lol) are always way too short and seem almost rude or waaay too long and rambling.

You can email them back & ask if you could meet in person rather then a phone interview. A good breeder is Always going to want to talk to you by phone or in person before they sell a pup to someone they don't know.
Well, it sounds like I'm going to be touring the state while I look for my puppy! If they will agree to have some internet random just show up at their house without as much as a phone call. I feel a little weird asking to just show up after they have asked me to call them... but I just can't make myself call.
