I would like to add that there is absolutely no need for 5 ties. One is usually sufficient, but most go with 2 ties with 1 day in between. If she is receptive, she is ovulating. Besides, sperm can remain viable for several days after breeding.
A real danger in so many ties... and having ties over a full week, is that you could wind up with pups at different stages of development, with some being premature. This can happen if an egg is fertilized on the first tie and then on one of the late ties. You could have pups a full week more developed than others. The less developed ones would be the human equivalent of a month premature. |
