Oh man! A few weeks ago the smoke alarm in my bedroom started to randomly go off. I changed batteries, I left batteries out, I tried to unplug it (it is hardwired and I couldn't do it!) Finally, around 3 am I found a duster can spray thing and dusted the detector all over. It finally worked! My poor dogs! Buddy got sick of it and went downstairs to sleep in his kennel but Blazer had a heck of a time with it. I had him in his kennel and it was covered but every time the alarm went off he would whine a bit. I felt so bad for him, I knew it had to be hurting his ears!
