She isnt in any distress as we speak.....but that usuallly has a way of happening around midnight, when everyone is closed, but the ER vet, who is going to be probably 3x's the expense. But then I do not like to wait until there is an emergency in order to get active....I like "controlled crashes"....I like to know what I have, what I am dealing with, and what my options are.....no guessing, no fooling around, wondering, puzzled, waiting for the next shoe to fall, no surprises....guess that is 35+ years of cardiovascular intensive care nursing....Not only do I not like loosing my patients, I like preventing them from even getting that close....you have to move too fast when it gets that far.
