We traveled with Jack last year to Florida - fortunately, he loves car rides and does not get sick. Other than having his comforts from home, i.e. blankets and toys, I would make sure you have access to a water bowl and food. Though with him getting motion sickness, you will have to plan longer stops somewhere along the way for his feedings. We made more frequent stops - about every two hours (unless Jack was sleeping) to stretch and let him go potty and offer water and food. Again, with your little one and the car sickness, I would only offer food a couple of times (not sure how many hours you will be traveling) or you may want to feed him several smaller meals.

I had read somewhere that motion sickness may be stopped if the pups can see out the window - does your little one have a car seat where he can see out the window?

Good luck!
