Love

I want to thank everyone again for the advice and kind thoughts. This has been a very stressful few days and in saying no, i would also like to apologize if I in any way came across as grumpy. This is the only puppy I have lost and it's hitting rather hard right now.

I went back and read the posts again and I saw a few that I swear I didn't see before so I would like to take the time to answer some of the questions I saw.

The nape of the store is Tails of love. We are a new business and have only been around for a few months. We're hoping to have a website up soon for people to view what puppies we have available.

Someone had mentioned that 1 person is not enough to care for our puppies. We have 2 in the kennel, myself and another woman. In addition to that we also have volunteers who come in to help us with the day to day tasks. Without our volunteers we would be lost. <3 Hopefully in the future we can afford to hire more paid staff, but until then we do what we can with what we have. It's not a glamorous job thats for sure.

Also someone had asked if the puppies stay there at night. While they do stay there overnight without staff, I leave at 10pm and our opening kennel woman comes in at 7. If for any reason we feel as though it would not be in the best interest of a puppy we are encouraged to take them home with us.

another question I missed was in regard to breeding and if we require the puppies to be spayed/neutered. We do not however in partnership with the vet we use, the new parents are given a 14 day viral warranty and are required in the contract to see our vet within 4 business days. We cover 1/2 the cost of that visit and any viral treatments in that 14 day period. Also offered is 60% off any spay or neuter. they have the option to purchase a certificate through us to be used before the puppy is one year of age, or they can make an appt with our vet on their own. All parents are required to purchase nutristat as well and are sent home with a hypoglycaemia care sheet as well.

if there are any questions I have missed please let me know. Again, thank you to all who replied. And to those who questioned the authenticity of my post, I can understand why you would be concerned and I realize you are trying to look out for the well being of the breed. I came to this specific forum because I was hoping to get help from folks who are familiar with yorkies. I meant no disrespect.
