Most breeders go for a second or a third tie a day or two later to increase the likelihood of pregnancy. Personally, I like doing three ties 24 hours apart.
You might want to read up on breeding a bit if you are planning on studding out your boy on a regular basis. Sorry if I sound rude, but your question is quite an elementary one for a breeder. Apart from doing your research, have you done the necessary tests to ensure his health and the health of his offspring?
