how big is she? it depends on the size really. When Brandy was about a pound she needed to be put out at least every half an hour or she'd have an accident during the day. At night as soon she she woke up she would need to go to the bathroom, about every 3 hours. Her bladder is only so big, so that is why she goes. If you crate train them, vice letting them run around free, they tend to learn faster. But you can not let them think it is okay to go in their crate. Pet store dogs learn this and are harder to train.
Your dog is finished growing, so it's now a matter of you trying to make a schedual for her, so she can know when to expect to go out. I always stay up late, so I let her out last thing at night, then my husband lets the dogs first thing in the morning. If they get used to a routine it is better for them. Brandy needs to go out every 2 hours and she is about 4 lbs. If your dog is on the smaller side, I would try to let her out more frequently during the day, if it is bigger, then it can hold it a little longer.
I hope this helps
