That's true. Kaji was just 6 lbs at 12 months. And by just I mean barely 6 lbs. I took him in as soon as he joined my family and the vet informed me, not only is he healthy, but to expect him to put on some more weight. Whatever the amount was, what he weighed at 18 months was his healthy adult weight. I took him back at 18 months for another quick checkup, and Kaji was a healthy and slim 7 lbs.
