my lactating girls get fed 4-5 times a day, breakfast, scrambled egg with cheese. lunch, puppy wet mixed with with dry kibble, snack , whelping pudding, dinner,kibble mixed with soft and a bit of ricotta cheese, less sodium than cottage.. and before bed, kibble mixed with whelping pudding..
I have a large bowl of water available to her I add 1/4 of clear Karo syrop to make the water more tempting.
