I recently had Neo (who will be 4 in April) at the vet for his usual anal gland and nail spa day, lol. I asked if he or Connor needed their teeth cleaned, and was told no. I was a little taken aback, especially since Neo's mouth is so tiny, and hard to brush, and both boys breath is less than fresh, most of the time. The vet said to just "double down" on the brushing and that their teeth looked good and very little tartar except on the molars, and with the extra brushing , that would take care of it.
Am I just being a worry-wart, and borrowing trouble by being less than thrilled with this diagnosis? I worry about what is under the gumline, and have seen the results of poor dental hygene with my in-law's doxies. I don't want my boys to loose teeth!
