Probably the very best thing you can do is search for another Yorky who will ease the loss. It doesn't mean you loved your other any less but a distraction will help you move on.
Just because the outcome is not favorable, does not elude to it being malpractice. If the autopsy said something other than unknown causes like: ruptured spleen, etc. There MAY have been some level of malpractice.


I am sorry for your loss. It seems that you took several precautions to ensure that your baby was able to handle the surgery. Some things are just out of our control. I hope that you are able to find peace with what happened. As others have said, with these little ones, it is always a tough decision to put them other because there is always a risk.
