Clyde was predicated by be 7 pounds fully grown and Dexter was predicated to be between 6-8 pounds fully grown ... They both well exceeded the weight that both the breeder & the weight chart said they would be. Dexter came from a very reputable breeder, too. I definitely agree, weight isn't something that can be accurately predicated with puppies.
I really want to own a smaller Yorkie one of these days (like 5-7 pounds). So the next Yorkie I get is going to be an adult in need of a home so I can make sure to get the desired weight that I want. I think getting an adult is the only way to truly ever guarantee the weight of your dog.
