Thank you all for your comments and advice. Obviously, I did not do the right thing regarding Joy Boy and the cold weather. Also, I never thought of theft or someone giving him a dangerous food item. There are so many dogs tied up by this restaurant (really a coffee house) every day that I never considered anyone would try to cause him harm. Additionally, even though I have a small patio, which he will sometimes use when a walk is not an option, I do not plan to let him out by himself any more due to posts regarding raccoons, hawks, owls, etc. I live in an urban area but lots of wild animals and birds are periodically around here too.
Again, thank you for your thoughts on this matter. I truly appreciated it. I look forward to being an active member of the group so I can continue learning and one day be able to share the expertise I gain from all of you. |
