My vet actually first recommended it but I was hesitant to try it since my dog vomits in the morning if he doesn't eat anything the afternoon before. But I've tried it, it works but only when you stick to it 100%. I just don't have the heart to do that yet but it seems I'm going to have to do it while my parents are gone on vacation this coming week. Hopefully he'll get the idea that he is supposed to eat what I put down. It's my parents who prefer to let him lick bowls, giving him many treats per day, etc... So I've got 8 days to work on it on my own starting tomorrow. So that is what I will do and I hope it works like It has briefly in the past when I started doing it but gave up due to my parents insistence of him licking their bowls. :P
