My four y/o Yorkie (Paulianna) has PLE. She was a very sick yorkie when I took her to the vet. She is now being treated with weekly B12 shots, steroids, and antibiotics and a prescription low fat diet. She has lost a lot of muscle mass/weight. Her poop is back to normal and she is a lot more active than before. Has anyone struggled with this prognosis and what was the outcome. I know its not curable but I would like to maintain her for as long as I can.
