I'm sure your vet would have caught it and told you that she had oversize fetuses and scheduled a C-section but boy, do you need to have a talk with your husband about what can go wrong when a female in heat is outside in the yard, even with a fence. Males will find their way into yards with females in heat in the most impossible ways. Glad she is okay and I am so glad the pups will have a loving forever home even if they aren't purebred Yorkies.
