I have changed food etc etc etc and feel it is more likely to be the outside (canyon) environment, as nothing else seems to work. He does love walking and rooting in the many bushes! When he goes into a more urban setting he does not have the issue. However, I thought GB worth a try. Stranger things have happened! LOL!

No, you're right it's helped many, but it was for excessive tearing. Oh dear rooting would do it. I wonder if some googles would help?
