My Salty lived for about 12 years and he only had one toy. It was an orange stuffed cat about the size of him! He drug that thing everywhere through the years, pulled out its stuffing, its fur, and pulled both of its ears and eyes off. Its nose was gone and its tail was hanging by a thread. When I was a little girl I really wanted an orange kitten. One year for Christmas I was told I would be getting one. Instead, I got a stuffed orange cat. I cried behind the Christmas tree and gave it to Salty. It was his ever since, lol.

Maybe your puppy will find a toy that it becomes attached to like Salty did. Who knows?
