IBS is some what of a fancy label for diarreah/GI issues. Which is a common side effect from switching to a healther, higher quality diet. Just like if a human were to switch from McDonalds to a fresh food diet (raw diet etc).
If a dog is on a Rx food, it's because a veterinarian felt that the diet was appropriate for the dog's medical status. I don't think people should just "try a raw diet" when they have dogs with medical problems just because someone on the internet said so. So even though I personally would disregard your advice, I'm interested in this research....So, if you can post the link to the study or source, I'm sure many of us would like to learn about the great improvements you mentioned along with learning about the credentials of the researchers and the methodology upon which they based their conclusions.
