Wow..I really hope Suri gets better soon!! I dont know all the details, but it sounds like YOU are putting YOUR heart and soul into momma and these babies, not this "breeder". And YOU are the one worrying yourself to death and tiring yourself out. I dont know that the "breeder" deserves to have them back..just my 2 cents. Good luck to you...Ill be checking back....

Believe it or not, I found myself in a very similar situation about a year ago....I too, took a pregnant yorkie, handled the whelp, had complications, almost lost momma, lost one pup, had 4 healthy babies....raised the litter, and in the end had to send momma back to the greeder.... Although, I made sure she was spayed soon after! YAY! (at my expense as well). I know where your heart is..I ended up "winning" the litter per say....after all, I did all the work, cried all the tears, lost all the sleep... I found them great homes with spay/neuter contracts. I still keep in contact with these pups. I learned a lot with that experience....I was trying to change a BYB. again, I learned a lot.
