I have an elderly rescue that had mammary tumors all over when I got her. They did two different surgeries removing everything four years ago. Then she had a small tumor appear at the belly button that we've been watching. Well 2 weeks ago it grew and they removed it last week. It was a sweat gland adneocarcinoma. An aggressive cancer and even though he got clear margins she will have to have a chest x-ray in a month or so and be watched closely because some cancer cells could have been shed. I knew it was probably cancer going in but hoping that by removing it we would get more time with her. Praying for your little rescue. She looks so sweet.
