Puppies do tend to get messy very quickly. The Yorkie Splash and Shine products are all natural and don't dry the skin. There are several other all natural product lines out there that do not contain sulfates as well. Regular pet products contain the sulfates that are a major factor in causing dry skin and coat. Some will point out that they have one or two natural ingredients in them but they still have sulfates so read the label carefully.
I also use a waterless spray shampoo in between baths for when she may get her feet or belly dirty after being outside. That may help you with a puppy as well.
Also make sure you are feeding a very good quality food. Some foods use really low grade ingredients that can cause issues with the coat and skin. |
