It does help Ellie. We have residual symptoms but nowhere near as many as when she ate meat/poultry. She had severe itchies and/or severe gi issues including pancreatitis on meat based diets. The only think dogs need is amino acids and nitrogen. There is no need for meat (although it tends to be more biologically available). It probably isn't the easiestto balance. With eggs added in, it is really easy though. E can't have those either though. Heck, she can't even have Balance It.

Edit: okay two dogs on vegetarian diets now wow! I must have been totally clueless is this more common than I thought?
