I always say "a controlled crash is much preferred over any emergencies". In other words, know in advance if you are going to have problems....if the pups are too big, go ahead and schedule a c-section and take them before allowing mom to get into a serious situation, unable to pass babies and loosing her and the babies! You dont ever opt for "second guessing" or "waiting to see"....too much to loose!
