Biewers DNA as yorkies...unless well the obvious...previously yes the piebald gene, caused confusion but Mars is furthering their research and it is being corrected-I beleive they offered a free new breed identification to correct any previous errors.
The issue became known just recently and apparently due to consistency in the original 'control' group of a breeder who submitted.
Another breeder has stepped up to help provide a better control group and again sheer volume brought the issue to light.
