Congratulations on your new baby!
It was a 4 hour trip for us when we picked up Sam. I took:
*carrier/pet taxi with a sherpa liner and a soft blanket
*collapsible water bowl and a bottle of fresh water
*NutriCal
*puppy size harness and leash
*disposable pee pads - because your baby is so young and hasn't had all of her shots yet, it's best to avoid common places like rest stops with dog walk areas. Parvo can live on the ground for months! I just spread the pad out in the back of the car.
Some of the stuff I didn't use, but it was still nice to have it, especially since our 4 hour trip home turned into 10 hours!
