I have a cairn. She is the greatest dog. But very,very smart. And they need positive methods for training they are defiantly a big dog in a little body. Lots of energy when they are pups. My daughter has one and we rescued one from the pound my brother has. Maddi gets along with the yorkies. But once in awhile she wants to play and they do not want to. My daughters cairn gets along also with the yorkies as does my brothers. The cairns tend to be rougher players and the yorkies do not care for that. But all three sleep in bed with us every night and for the most part get along...
