I put in an application in the Summer of 2012 with our local humane society to adopt a yorkie if one comes in. My application was approved and I have just been patiently waiting . . .This weekend, a 7 month old 1/2 yorkie, 1/2 schnauzer comes in. I didn't get a call about him at all, but saw him on FB and PetFinder. I immediately emailed them and sit here waiting for a reply. It said all inquiries about him must be submitted by email so they can send out an application and set up a meet and greet.
I'm kind of disappointed that there wasn't some kind of data base for those who were already approved for adoption, and for those waiting for a specific breed, even though he's half. So I don't know what my chances are with this little guy . . .I'm sooo disappointed! I haven't even gotten a reply back yet.
