Well, it's all still under discussion here. Breeder says we can pick up at 8 weeks. We scheduled for 9 weeks so my DH can come along. Reading posts here I realize that 12 weeks is better for the pup and probably for us too. I'm just concerned that if she's feeding Puppy Chow is it better to pick her up at 9 weeks so we can get her introduced to better food sooner. I know you don't want to change their food too soon after they come to their forever home but a couple of weeks could make a big difference in their lives, I would think. I plan on going out to visit, when I'm over this darn cold and thought that I could even bring some of the better food and ask the breeder to start to introduce it there then plan to pick her up at 12 weeks. I just don't know what the best thing is to do.
