| We give our dogs, (yorkie and corgie) very occassional and very small bits of people food but you have to be careful what because some food is toxic to Yokies even though it would seem healthy(raisins and grapes for example).
We got introduced to the Yorkie breed because we Fostered a 3 yr old who was fed primarily human food and was in kidney failure. He needed alot of daily care and my husband is a vet tech. The owner wanted to put him to sleep but he had alot of life left in him so he came to live with us and my hubby was able to give the daily treatments needed. We ahd him for three months. He was a great dog made us fall in loved with the breed. I guess you need to talk to your Vet and do your homework, but I think your hubby is right on this one. Good luck with your new baby!! |
