To determine the amount of protein on a dry matter basis, divide the reported amount of protein by the total amount of dry matter. Then, multiply the result by 100.
Stella & Chewy's is one of the highest premade fat foods out there. There's a few other premades that are less, but I've heard of S&C causing this problem before in Yorkies. |
I have 2 of mine on premade raw (smallbatch) & that has also 11% fat, which is 36% fat as a dry matter basis. They're doing great on it, small firm poopies. Princess gets soft poopies even if she eats a tiny morsel of it.
