Vet visits and baths are both stressful to any dog but to a sick dog, feeling bad, full of medications, the fear and such associated with a bath might have just been way too much. I'd leave him be and only bathe him again when he's totally well. The meds alone with make a dog lethargic and a bath can take a lot out of a dog. Watch him closely to be sure he's taking in some fluids from time to time and get him back to the vet if he doesn't respond or he just seems not right some how.
