Our 4 year old rescued baby recently just underwent a spay surgery and mammory tumor removal. The surgery was 5 days ago. We are a little concerned with how it looks and we're wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their yorkies. There is pretty bad bruising and a very stiff lump on the inside. We took her to the vet two days after the surgery to address this issue and they had us come back today when the surgeon who performed the surgery was in. She seemed to think it was a reaction to the stitches. Also beyond our belief they removed the stitches after only 5 days!! I guess we are a little concerned on whether or not the vet butchered our baby, and if anyone has had any issues like this before with their yorkie. I'll attach a couple pictures of her stomach. What do you guys think?
