When I first started learning and researching breeding and breeding practices, I kept reading about "culling"....I thought for sure I was loosing my mind and had not understood what the meaning of "culling" was....I was shockerd and amazed when I actually began to speak with people that do this almost second nature....just like breeders that believe in survival of the fittest principle, and if there is a fading baby in a litter, they will do nothing to actually save that baby, allowing nature to take its course....I just can not do that, especially when I honestly believe that baby is a product of MY intentions....if I have screwed something up and misjudged or misinterpreted something, and now this poor little unfortunate soul is struggling to survive, I believe I have to get in there and fight for /with that baby, because that baby would not be in the fight/struggle of its life, if it was not for me. If it is Gods will that baby goes back to Him, then He will take it regardless of what I do....but He expects me to do SOMETHING...... |
