Question Question for Keurig owners

I have 2 Keurig machines because my husband had one and I had one and we moved in together. His broke about 3 years ago and it was only 9 months old. I put it aside intending to call Keurig and never did. Well yesterday mine 'broke' so I called Customer Service. I read online and know people who have gotten the entire machine replaced at no cost. However, customer service would not do that for me. I had to pay $70 for a new machine and I have to pay to return the k-cup holder. I did it last night after we got 1 machine to work and the other was declared dead. I even mentioned to the woman on the phone that my dad got his 9 year old machine replaced for free just 2 months ago and our friends got their 7 year old machine replaced for free also. She told me she never heard of that and that I had to pay $70. So I ended up paying and now I feel like I should have questioned it more or asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained to the woman that the dead machine died 9 months after we bought it, and its been sitting in our storage room waiting for me to call. She didn't seem to care though. Actually she was not that pleasant at all.

What should I do? Accept it and let it go? Should I try calling back?
