I have a traditional Yorkie and a parti Yorkie and love them both the same. Each has their own personality and I like the variety. Since I only have them for pets and not showing them, then I don't see what the difference is - although because Izzy's tail was not docked (per my request - no need or sense to cut her tail) and her ears flop over, a lot of people think she is a Shih Tzu mix.
