I think I'd go with bigger tiles here to give the illusion of more space since we're square footage poor, but I love the pattern of it.

We have just finished painting the 1970's builder dark brown cabinets in an antique enamel white and added small clear glass pulls.

All the bedrooms here are super loud colors, and across from our kitchen (converted dining room to both dining living room to make living my daughters room) is a flat black wall with all our pics in black frames-so the kitchen is totally bright white and we want black (smoke tone) floors to mellow the house a bit.
