I have steamers and a Swiffer-like refillable spray mop...forget what brand but it's red...lol...that I put a vinegar/water solution in...maybe a few drops of soap at times. I have, before getting the Yorkies, used a Swiffer Wet Jet when the kitties and big dog were not around...but always blocked the area off until the solution/floor was completely dry. I would also rinse the area with clean water after mopping...then dry it myself with paper toweling. The big dog didn't like the solution...maybe the smell...and would leave the area the instant I started to spray anyway. My complaint with all chemicals and my fuzz buckets is that I do not want them licking chemicals off their paws...period.
