I'm a fan of male dogs and it doesn't matter the breed. I just find that they are more tolerating of children, affectionate and fun. I think female dogs are great too, I've only had one in my lifetime. I think her personality allowed for easier training and so that's what I like over the genders.

I have a boy and am smitten with him. He's the man of my house. I only get bored with him when I can't put him in pink.
