thank you so much!!! I am worrying so much for her! We should have already flown with her, if for no other reason than to familiarlize her with it but we just haven't! If we have had a little time to spare, my Patrick has been so "posessed" by the camping bug ... that's all he has had on his mind!
I'm not a camper but have gone just to try to understand it!
Most of the time "I just don't get it"! We are inseperable so I am giving it my best shot! The great thing which has come of it is ... Toto was a consolation prize [and quite a distraction] when we bought the Casita [trailer] and we also met Mary Ellen & Don [Higgin's Mom] at a "Rally" down in Florida!! That was worth it all!!!
Toto has the Petmate Portable Pet Home but I was afraid that they wouldn't accept it because it didn't have the carry handles! Darn!! I could've used one she was already familiar with!!
I have already ordered one ... the Sherpa Lite. I wanted her to have time to get used to it before the trip. Now I have another crisis ... my husband is showing signs of "Mountain Sickness" already [he only got there yesterday!]. Our first experience with it was about six years ago ... I thought I would die .... in fact, I was so sick I prayed to die!!
I don't know if it affects our pets but I will find out before we go! Just to be prepared!
Again, thank you so much for sharing your experience ... I feel so much better now ... maybe I will be lucky and have flight attendents that will be a little lenient!
