Yeah, I don't blame you, these breeders have promised to uphold the YTCA conduct of rules. Another member bought a dog from a breeder who sold the dog at 10 weeks, and the dog ended up having severe problems, in my opinion a breeder who takes this type of shortcut, takes shortcuts in other ways as well. I personally would write the club if I were you and tell them about this. They can't take official action because he didn't actually sell you the dog, but I'm sure they could do something. Being on the YTCA list is no guarantee of being a good breeder and not being on the list doesn’t mean they aren’t a good breeder. The list is just a guideline, you still need to clearly understand what makes a good breeder and ask the right questions, and follow you gut. Care to name names on this thread, I know we have YTCA breeders reading Yorkietalk.
