If one of my pups did this, I would have them scoped immediately before it could make it to the intestines and cause major problems. I would also be concerned about the effect that stomach acid would have on the polyurethane foam. It could break it down back to its components, which are pretty nasty things, like isocyanates and amine catalysts.
