Mine will stop and is easily distracted when I pick him up or offer a chew toy. And after the puppy phase he doesnt really bite, unless hes playing.
She said he is fixed.

Jackson has a few fav humpy toys - I don't really care, it doesn't bother me. He never does it to other dogs, or people, and he never gets nippy with me. He only does it typically when he's over excited and he goes over and starts humping... lol...
