Well, I'm all about picking my battles. Honestly, Lexie is such a great dog, gives me no problems about anything. That's the one thing that's a sticking point -- the toothbrushing.
I just got a product from my vet. It's Perio-Support. it's a powder you put on food. she'll only need a 1/4 teaspoon each feeding. it has all natural ingredients and has probiotics as well. The trick with these products, apparently, is to start them on them after a fresh dental so their teeth are as clean as can be. They don't seem to work as well after tartar has accumulated.
