Sophie Kate had the name "Sophie" when I got her (and she knew it), I knew I had to add to since there are A LOT of Sophie dogs and Sophie little girls. On the first night she was with us my friend Katie was visiting, Sophie Kate plopped herself in Katie's lap like she belonged there so I decided to add the "Kate".
I should add she will come to both Sophie and Sophie Kate along with various other nicknames I have for her.
