Troy had his name for nearly a year before we got him. My daughter named him after Zac Efron's character in High School Musical. She said that our next dog would be Troy if it was a boy and Gabriella (Gabby for short) if it was a girl. Trying telling a 6 year old girl that we are changing a dogs name after she had been dreaming of him for the past year probably won't go so well. There wasn't even any consideration to change it when we got him because the breeder started calling him that and he was responding to it. So Troy it is.
