My vet said it messes up there tummys and something about giving to much happens a lot and there blood gets to thin. We had a lab years and years ago and the vet told us how much aspirin to give her for arthritis and we did and when I woke up the next morning there was blood all over my comforter because she had gotten a nose bleed. It was scary. I will not give any to Callie and my vet does not recommend it at all.
