It appears our new wake up time is between 3:30 and 4 am.
Generally speaking, we go to bed between 9 and 9:30 pm. When Wallee first arrived, he would sleep till 5 am which was Ok as we are early risers. Of course in the summer before it started getting dark we took a walk after supper. As I mentioned before Wallee does the bulk of his eating at night as we have never been able to get him to eat in the morning. Well we also have 4 cats and anyone who has cats will understand they are active in the night and since we have one who is obese they are on controlled feeding. Of course this makes them wake us for food often at these times.
When Wallee hears them up, he also wakes and I have to let him out to poo. Now that it's cold outside he comes back in refreshed like someone who has just washed their face in cold water.
Couple that with the cats wanting to run, him wanting to chase them and bark and a Tennant sleeping downstairs and now I am pouring coffee down my throat trying to stay awake and keep everyone quiet.

Not such a big problem now as I am unemployed, however I do need to get back to work and will probably find myself doing the 1.5 hour commute each way every day into the city as that's where the jobs are.
Yikes. And he is a busy bee all day long. I swear I got more sleep when my kids were babies.
Any ideas on how to get this routine back to a more acceptable one? Btw Wallee sleeps in his crate in my room and won't even go back to sleep if I try taking him back to bed with me.
Come on "daylight".
